Hello I’m Mrs Richards. I am the class teacher of 1R. I have many years’ experience of teaching across Foundation and Key Stage 1. My passion is helping to unlock the learning potential of our young, learning and ensuring they have a positive view of education. I enjoy being creative and using my imagination. Outside of school I love having adventures with my husband and two young children and exploring new places.

Hello everyone, my name is Miss Schlaefli and I am the teacher for 1S this year. Although it is my first year at Highwood I am excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm of learning with my class while getting to know all the children and the school.

I love music and even specialised in the subject during my training. I love finding interesting and creative ways to help children engage and remember a topic and I can't wait to put my ideas into practice.
