This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information.  We will aim to review all images to add text alternatives where needed before our next review in January 2026.  We will ensure that text alternatives are available for new images published.
  • Some documents available from the website are not currently accessible.  We aim to make newly added and all required documents accessible before our next review in January 2026.  If you are unable to access a document you require, please contact admin@highwood.wokingham.sch.uk and we will provide the information in a different format.
  • Some pages use images of text.  These pages are currently under review and will be updated before our next review in January 2026.
  • In some cases, hyperlinks are only identified by visible means such as colour or an icon.  We aim to ensure that all hyperlinks can be identified when using a screen reader by our next review in January 2026.
