Comic Relief 2015

Highwood Red Nose Day for Comic Relief 2015!

The whole school enjoyed a range of activities to raise awareness and much needed funds for Comic Relief.

Children wore their red clothes to school, adorned their red noses and made their faces funny, all to support the charity. The support has been fantastic this year and all classes reached their target of fund raising and thoroughly enjoyed watching the staff pay the price! Thank you to all the staff that voluntered to be 'made over' by the children, face terrible taste tests, had wet sponges thrown at them and a face full of cream pies too!

The school raised almost £400 on Friday and we still have money coming in through staff donations and individual contributions.

A special mention to Sophie Avery who did a sponsored swim and managed an incredible 66 lengths and raised £100!!   Also to Tristan Murray and his mum who organised a special cake sale and raised £65.00!!

Once we have counted all the contributions we think we will have reached approximately £600! An incredible amount of money raised and we thank everyone that has helped in every way.

THANK YOU!
