We were lucky enough to have a visit from St James Church children's worker, Linda Galpin, who delivered a fantastic assembly about Shrove Tuesday and why we have pancakes on this day.

Foundation children enjoyed helping to make and taste some delicious pancakes, beatifully cooked by the Foundation team.

Year 1's pancake races had to take place inside due to the downpour of rain but the children still had a great time, racing in their teams and even trying to flip the pancakes!
