Key Outcomes 2024–2025
We are delighted to share this year’s results, which show that our pupils are making excellent progress and achieving outcomes above national averages in many areas.
Key Stage 2 (Year 6):
- Reading, Writing & Maths combined: 69% met the expected standard (national 62%), with 15% reaching the higher standard (national 8%).
 - Reading: 87% met the expected standard (national 75%) and 60% achieved the higher standard (national 33%).
 - Maths: 84% met the expected standard (national 74%), with 40% reaching the higher standard (national 26%).
 - Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 84% met the expected standard (national 73%), with 42% at the higher standard (national 30%).
 - Science: 84% met the expected standard (national 82%)
 - These results show a clear upward trend over the last three years, with children at our school achieving higher outcomes than national figures, especially at the higher standard.
 
Other Key Highlights:
- Phonics Screening (Year 1): 83% passed (above national 80%).
 - Multiplication Tables Check: Percentage of pupils scoring 25/25 is slightly below average, whereas our average raw score broadly in line with national (20.9 vs 21.1).
 - Early Years (Reception): 68% achieved a Good Level of Development, in line with national
 
In summary: Our pupils are not only meeting national standards in most areas but are outperforming them at the higher level, particularly in reading, maths and grammar. This demonstrates that children at our school are thriving, with many excelling well beyond expectations. Please see the attached document for more in-depth analysis.
