Admissions for the September 2026 cohort will be done via the Wokingham School Portal.

Reception - September 2025

We still have places for September 2025 starters, due to the low birth rates in the area.

If you have already been given a place at our school, please see our information page at the following link regarding transition visits and welcome to the Highwood community. 

In Year Applications

You can make an application to move from one school to another at any time of year.

Applications can be submitted up to half a term in advance before the place is required.

When you want your child to start	Earliest you can apply
Start of the academic year to October half-term	From previous May half-term
After October half-term to winter break	From the start of the academic year in September
After winter break to February half-term	From October half-term
After February half-term to spring break	From January
From Spring break to May half-term	From February half-term
From May half-term to end of academic year	From Easter break

Admissions are not processed over the school holidays or inset days; the admission inbox will be checked when the school re-opens. We will respond to all admission enquires within 15 school days (term time).
