Mrs Parker

Hi! My name is Mrs Parker, and I am one of the teachers in F2. I am very excited to be part of the Highwood staff and to work within this dedicated and talented team. I have been teaching for over fifteen years and have experienced all ages, from Foundation Stage to Year 6. My recent experience has been in Early Years where I love giving children opportunities to be imaginative, creative and to develop as independent learners. Out of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks and cycling. We also enjoy having fun at theme parks!

Miss Ahmed

Hello everyone! My name is Miss Ahmed, and I am super excited to be working with F2/Year 1. Before becoming a teacher at Highwood, I volunteered in various year groups to support children while training to become a teacher. I have enjoyed working with children to instil their passion for learning and make it fun! Without enjoyment, I believe learning is less likely to be remembered, so I strive to incorporate creativity into our lessons.

Outside of school, you will find me spending time with my family or reading a book. I love reading and aim to instil that passion in the children I teach.

Miss Rees

Hello, my name is Miss Rees, and I am so excited to be part of the Highwood team! I am passionate about creating a positive and nurturing environment where children feel happy, confident and motivated to learn. I enjoy planning fun and creative new learning experiences that support children in their learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and going to the gym.
